Children’s Workforce Development Council : ウィキペディア英語版
Children's Workforce Development Council

The Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDC) was a UK non-departmental public body set up in 2005 to support the implementation of the government's "Every Child Matters" strategy. It was part of Skills for Care and Development, the Sector Skills Council for social care, children and young people's workforces in the UK. Among other things, the CWDC was responsible for introducing Early Years Professional Status, as part of the government's aim to professionalise the early years workforce.
The CWDC closed in March 2012. Its operations were taken on by the new Teaching Agency and the Children's Improvement Board.
